John, what were you saying? I really need to learn how to listen, 'cos I kept getting distracted by your eyes darting away from the camera and back to the screen :) Bring back the cowboy. You said some good stuff, though.

Andrew, you are exactly right. The eyes darting to my notes was a problem. I need teleprompter for my computer!

John - I don't know you but I'm in T-560 and I really loved how you added that video to your blog! Very cool. It really made a lot of sense and was impressive!! I enjoyed listening to it :)

Hi John,

This was great! I thought it was great that you were thinking about how to extend the idea of people using all of the networks in listening to find ways to make your presentations more engaging. The idea of the affective network being a big part of learning is really important. I wondered about the impact of this type of blog posting on your learning. I think that when I speak, especially into a camera, my affective network is activated in very different way than when I type, so I wonder if your learning and understanding of this material was changed by recording a video recapping and extending what you took notes on.
